Job description

Key Duties Include

• Adhering to state laws and only executing procedures within their training and qualifications
• Instructing patients in exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training
• Monitoring and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques

Qualifications

• Current license/certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation or access to public transit
• Ability to work in diverse home environments and availability for weekend rotations

Preferred: Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and transfers.
