DHHS has established a new Division of Child and Family Well-Being that focuses on supporting whole child and family health and well-being for North Carolinians. This division works to ensure that North Carolina's children grow up safe, healthy and thriving in nurturing and resilient families and communities. It will bring together complementary programs from the Divisions of Public Health, Mental Health, and Social Services to maximize services and outcomes for children and their families, including nutrition programs (SNAP, WIC and Child and Adult Care Food Program), health and prevention services for children and youth, children's behavioral health services, and early intervention programs.
Primary purpose of the Physical Therapist Assistant II (PTA) provides treatment to children birth to three who are identified as having disorders or delays of gross motor development, and parent education for the purpose of preventing, improving, or modifying such disorders or delays. Such skills are to be provided in the context of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) team. This position is located within the catchment area of the Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) of The Cape Fear (Fayetteville).
This position will be located and serve children in Cumberland Co and the surrounding areas (Robeson Co, Cumberland Co., Bladen Co., & Sampson Co).
Salary Range: $47,935 -$71,901
Recruitment Range: $47,935 -$60, 329
