Join our team as a Clinical Therapist (Licensed Master Social Worker, New York) at PM Pediatric Care.

Overview

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This role involves providing comprehensive behavioral health services for common conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model. The full-time salary range is $60,000-$75,000.

Founded in 2006, PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care provider in the nation and a growing telehealth company dedicated to meeting all physical, behavioral, and psychosocial needs of children.

Responsibilities

1. Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices.
2. Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities.
3. Demonstrate competency as an individual, family, and group therapist.
4. Maintain professional development as required by licensing boards.
5. Complete documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans, promptly.
6. Collaborate with patients, families, and teams to address treatment obstacles.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Show cultural competency and commitment.
9. Respond swiftly to urgent or emergent needs.
10. Manage a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly, with a minimum of 5 patients daily.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Licensed as LMSW in New York.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Experience with teletherapy for children and adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Understanding of psychosocial aspects of health and illness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent short-term counseling skills.
• Experience with discharge planning.

Compensation

Dependent on location and experience. Actual salaries may vary within the range, and we consider individual qualifications.
