Millennium Therapy in New Hampton, IA is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our patient-focused team. The PTA will assist with screens, data collection, and direct treatment under supervision, supporting residents in our therapy programs across settings.

Applicants should hold an Associate Degree in PTA from an APTA-accredited program and be eligible for licensure. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA accredited program and Professional Licensure in the state of hire or eligible for licensure in states that regulate the PTA.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• PTA assists in provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides training to caregiver staff and participates in clinical program development.
• Collects assessment data as part of evaluation process and directed by supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care and prepares treatment materials.

Physical Therapy Assistant (pta) Qualifications

Physical Therapy Assistant (pta) Requirements

• Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload. Conducts resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff. Participates in clinical program development.
• Collects assessment data, as part of the evaluation process, as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising therapist. Prepares treatment materials and assists with other clerical duties as directed.
