Millennium Therapy in Independence, IA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient care. The PTA will support screens, assessments, and direct treatment under supervision, with flexible 10-15 hour weekly scheduling.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in PTA and licensure or eligibility, plus strong communication, time management, and organizational skills to coordinate patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited program and Professional Licensure in the state of hire or eligible for licensure in states that regulate the PTA.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload as directed by supervising PT.
• Conduct resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising PT.
• Participate in the clinical team process and provide training to caregiver staff.
• Collect assessment data as part of the evaluation process as directed by the supervising PT.
• Provide training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care.
