Job summary

Millennium Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Reinbeck, IA. You will support Skilled Nursing and Home Health settings, collaborating with therapists to deliver patient-centered care.

The PTA will conduct screens, collect data, and provide direct treatment under supervision. Flexible scheduling, benefits, and ongoing CE opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA-accredited program and licensure in the state of hire or eligibility in states that regulate the PTA.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening, collect assessment data, and directly treat caseload as directed by supervising therapist.
• Participate in the clinical team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff; participate in clinical program development.
• Collect assessment data as part of the evaluation process as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide training to patients, residents, and families according to the plan of care; prepare treatment materials and assist with clerical duties.

Physical Therapy Assistant (pta) Qualifications

Physical Therapy Assistant (pta) Requirements

• Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload. Conducts resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff. Participates in clinical program development.
• Collects assessment data, as part of the evaluation process, as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising therapist. Prepares treatment materials and assists with other clerical duties as directed.
