Job summary

Colquitt Regional Senior Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Our 59-bed center provides short-term rehab, long-term care, and specialized medical support in a warm, patient-centered environment.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physical andoccupational therapy staff, nursing, and other health professionals to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Georgia or eligibility.
• Associate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Perform objective clinical testing and data collection.
• Document daily treatments and progress notes for inpatients and outpatients.
• Communicate patient changes to the Physical Therapist before modifying plans.
• Supervise aides and volunteers assisting in patient care.
• Educate patients and families with clear, practical instructions.

Colquitt Regional Senior Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Our facility is a 59-bed skilled nursing center that provides exceptional short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized medical support for older adults in a warm and patient-centered environment.

As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with experienced physical and occupational therapy staff, nursing, and other health care providers to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

• Complies with and follows treatment program established by the Physical Therapist.
• Conducts objective clinical testing.
• Assists in gathering data during tests and measurements. Immediately reports all patient changes, unexpected responses, problems to the assigned Physical Therapist before modifying a treatment program.
• Documents patient treatments performed daily including progress notes on inpatients and outpatients. Supervises supportive personnel.
• Gives direction to aides and volunteers who may be assisting in patient care.
• Provides patient and family education and gives instructions that are clear and complete.

Qualifications

• Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Georgia
• Associates or better in Physical Therapy.
• BLS Certification
