Montecito Post Acute Care in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. Join a stable therapy team providing geriatric care focused on recovery and functional improvement.

You will perform screenings, evaluation, develop care plans, deliver rehabilitative treatments, assist with discharge summaries, and coordinate with families and other providers. New grads welcome; PTA license required.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

MONTECITO POST ACUTE CARE & REHABILITATION – MESA, AZ

Montecito Post Acute Care in Mesa, AZ, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $30 - $34/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities
