Job summary

Kettering Home Care, part of Alternate Solutions Health Network, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home therapy under a Physical Therapist direction. You will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility, strengthening, and functional goals.
• Support treatment plans focused on restoring independence and improving quality of life.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use.
• Observe and report patient progress, changes, and concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Medicare guidelines.
• Participate in case conferences, trainings, and on-call requirements as needed.
