Job summary

Alternate Solutions Home Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in Kettering, Ohio. In this role, you will provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes, assisting them in regaining strength, mobility, and independence. You will work closely with a Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting required.
• Home health experience preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility, strengthening, and functional goals
• Support treatment plans focused on restoring independence and improving quality of life
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use
• Observe and report patient progress, changes, and concerns to the Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Complete timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Medicare guidelines
• Participate in case conferences, trainings, and on‑call requirements as needed

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting required
• Home health experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field
