Select Medical in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The role offers an hourly rate starting at $31 with a $12,000 sign-on bonus and Monday–Friday schedule.

The PTA will work under a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, focusing on restoring function and enabling return to activity. Opportunities for growth and internal mobility are highlighted in our program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE exam for PTA licensure.
• Valid PTA license or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PTA services to patients and facilities.
• Maintain positive relations with centers and patients.

Education

College graduate of an accredited PTA program

Passed CAPTE national examination for PTAs

Valid state PTA license (or license in process)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
