Industrial Specialist PRN – Elevate Workplace Health and Safety

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Variable hours Monday–Friday, as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 7:00 PM
Travel: May require travel between sites within Jacksonville

About the Role

Step into a dynamic on-site position focused on promoting Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness for employee populations. As an Industrial Specialist, you'll drive pre- and post-injury programs—including Prevention Solutions and Post-Injury Solutions—designed to keep employees safe and healthy.

This hands-on role demands flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving workplace health. You'll conduct on-site assessments, implement wellness programs, and support post-injury rehabilitation, making a meaningful impact on employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain wellness and safety programs on-site
• Provide job coaching, ergonomic assessments, and injury prevention strategies
• Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and UHS management to ensure program success
• Track and report program metrics, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines

Preferred Experience

• Industrial Setting: Previous experience in an industrial environment

Qualifications

• PTA licensure in the state of Florida
• 2+ years of experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Medicine, or Workers’ Compensation
