Park-Place Transitional Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to help patients recover and rehabilitate from serious illnesses, injuries, or medical events. You will support therapists, promote functional independence, and contribute to restoring mobility, balance, and gait.
The role focuses on short-term, transitional care with a team that values collaboration and patient-centered care.
We are an in-house, close-knit therapy team who addresses patient needs and collaborates well with our IDT. Our team has a family feel and all members are appreciated, seen, and heard.

A PTA is responsible for assisting Physical Therapist in helping patients recover and rehabilitate from the effects of a serious illness, injury or medical event, regaining their own best possible level of functional ability, well-being and independence. Provides support services to improve strength and function, restore more efficient movement, improve flexibility and aid patients in restoring mobility and/or improving balance and gait after hip fractures and other orthopedic injuries, medical illness, or as they recover from joint replacement procedures.
