We are seeking a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the DFW area.

Physical Therapist Assistants earn up to $50 per hour, with a pay structure of $12.50 per unit for up to 4 units per hour.

Position Details:

A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is a registered professional who provides therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients' service disorders. They plan coordinated care for patients of all age groups, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain well-being. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.

Essential functions:

• Design and administer therapy treatment plans.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities to prevent contamination and disease transmission.
• Accept clinical assignments appropriate to their education and competence.
• Use effective interpersonal and communication skills; facilitate these skills within the team to achieve outcomes.
• Meet mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency or licensing board.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
