Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New Jersey to provide PT interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, manage a full caseload, and complete documentation for patient care. The role is full-time, with a supportive team and a commitment to growth.

You will work in a collaborative outpatient setting, document in WebPT EMR, and maintain CEU requirements for PTA licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in NJ.
• Completed state CEU requirements (NY/NJ).
• Experience with EMR software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT interventions that are safe and effective under supervision.
• Manages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient care.
• Completes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR promptly.
• Maintains CEU requirements for PTA license.
• Attends billing/coding seminars and trainings.
• Assists with cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Educates the community through lectures and presentations.
• Demonstrates respectful interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care.

What You’ll Need:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
• Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
• Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
• Excellent oral, written communication
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
• Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times

What You’ll Do:

• Provides PT interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG PT guidelines
• Manages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient care
• Completes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in timely manner as per JAG PT guidelines
• Maintains state regulated CEU requirements for PTA license
• Attends annual JAG PT Billing/Coding seminar
• Assists with cleanliness and organization of facility
• Educates the surrounding community through lectures/presentations
• Demonstrates respectful intervention with patients, colleagues, and others
• Other duties as assigned
