Purpose of the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your work supports person-centered rehabilitation by turning therapy plans into safe, consistent progress residents can feel in daily life. You'll provide patient care and related activities as directed by the Staff Therapist, while following established medical practices, regulatory requirements, and Company policies.

Between sessions, you coordinate with the care team, document progress clearly, and adjust your pace to meet each resident where they are-especially when memory loss or anxiety changes how the moment unfolds. Throughout the day, you keep communication calm and respectful with residents and families, and you lean on your teammates when you need a second set of eyes or a quick check-in. By shift's end, you leave knowing small, consistent gains added up to real independence.
