Job summary

Viva Talent Solutions in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct physical therapy interventions under supervision and to record treatments and progress in medical records. You will help ensure residents receive the highest quality care at all times.

The role requires graduation from an accredited assistant program, active licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistant, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current registration/licensure as a PTA

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program
• Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have current registration/licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. The person in this role will also record treatments given and note progress in medical records. In this role, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
