Job summary

Blue Palms Health & Rehab Center at DeLand is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team as a full-time member. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Florida PTA license (required).
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is available as Full-Time. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.
