HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for our assisted living community in Scarsdale, NY. Join a therapeutic team focused on compassionate, resident-centered care and meaningful daily outcomes.

You will implement treatment plans, provide direct patient care, document progress, and collaborate with Physical Therapists and staff to ensure coordinated care across settings.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a PTA, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and EHR systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
