Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing in Cheswick, PA, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides hands-on therapy to support patient recovery, mobility, and independence.

The ideal candidate is PTA-certified with Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility, strong communication, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current PTA certification
• Active Pennsylvania license or eligibility
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
• Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment
