Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides high-quality, hands‑on therapy services that support patient recovery, improve mobility, and enhance functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current PTA certification.
• Active Pennsylvania license or eligibility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands‑on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques.
• Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment.
