Brookings Health System is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence, primarily in home health with occasional long-term care visits.

The compensation range is $23.39 to $34.62 per hour, with full benefits including retirement, discounts, gym reimbursement, and loan forgiveness options.

Competenze

• Associates degree from a PTA program.
• Current state licensure required (new grads considered).
• CPR certificate required or within 60 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor the individual’s progress and report outcomes to the supervising PT.
