Responsibilities

  • Perform routine therapy interventions according to established plans of care.
  • Observe, document, and report patient responses and changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Educate patients and family members on home exercise and treatment programs.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and discharge planning.
  • Attend departmental meetings, in-services, and special projects.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide educational presentations and in-services to staff and community groups.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education, literature review, and professional meetings.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
  • Fulfill required continuing education units (CEUs) during each two-year licensing cycle.

Position Summary

Provides physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
