Timber Springs Transitional Care in Boise, ID is seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver skilled rehabilitation interventions in line with regulatory standards.

The role involves standing and walking, lifting, and assisting geriatric clients, with opportunities to provide wound care, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• New grads welcome!
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Stand/walk regularly; assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.

Timber Springs Transitional Care in Boise, ID, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
