Job summary

Engage Senior Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Bedford, NH. You will support licensed physical therapists in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to seniors in assisted living facilities, helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care according to the therapist's treatment plan.
  • Assist patients with walking, transferring, and dressing.
  • Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care
  • Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
  • Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining functional independence and a better quality of life
  • Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops

Engage Senior Therapy, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, delivering compassionate care at assisted living facilities in Bedford, NH. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:
