Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient care team in South Carolina. The role offers full-time, part-time or PRN options, flexible schedules, and a supportive environment focused on patient care and professional growth.

You’ll provide PTA services under a PT plan, document treatment, educate patients and families, collaborate with clinicians, and participate in our development programs, including residency ladder and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• A passion to learn, grow, and make an impact - new grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients per established plan directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through treatment levels within their capabilities.
• Document treatments and patient interactions per CORA policies.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and rehab team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow skills and clinic culture.

What You’ll Do

• Make a powerful impact on your local community through inclusive physical therapy treatment.
• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist
• Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment within the maximum capabilities of the patient
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient’s condition
• Document all treatment and other pertinent patient interaction in accordance with CORA policies
• Provide relevant education to patient and family regarding home programs and activities
• Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family and other members of the rehabilitation team
