Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Treat patients, address questions, and educate them on injuries, progress, and long‑term wellness strategies.
- Supervise Techs during modalities (for all federal payers and non‑BCBSM patients) and assist with setup and cleanup.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation for daily notes and discharges.
- Maintain productivity expectations (60 treatments in a 40‑hour week in an outpatient ortho setting).
- Assist in developing and refining treatment protocols.
- Participate in clinic research studies.
- Continue to grow professionally through CEUs and approved coursework.
Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
