Always Best Care of Albuquerque-Rio Rancho is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant with an opportunity to convert to full-time on our Home Health team in the Albuquerque area. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover movement and manage pain, delivering quality care in various settings.

The role requires a PTA license, BLS and CPR certifications, and preferred two years of health care facility experience.

Qualifications

Always Best Care is looking to add a part-time physical therapist assistant, with an opportunity to a full-time position, to our Home Health team. We are seeking a candidate to add to our energetic team, and who will provide quality patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals in need of physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses, regain movement and manage pain. PTA's assist in implementing treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, and educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation. They work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and private practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• Minimum of two (2) year experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills interpersonal skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state/Agency requirements. Good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
