Summary

We are hiring for Physical Therapist to join our team in Senior Living at Brookdale Therapy Roswell! SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR FULL-TIME HIRES.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the patient to determine rehab potential, identify needs, establish an individualized treatment plan of care, and set goals to be used in the team plan of care.
  • Set initial short-term and long-term goals.
  • Utilize equipment properly and safely, maintain equipment inspection, maintenance, and cleaning logs, and report broken or faulty equipment.
  • Maintain equipment logs for required equipment in the outpatient clinic.
  • Follow the medical regimen developed for the patient and adhere to precautions (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.).
  • Utilize safe treatment techniques such as transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin bath, cryotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.
  • Complete discharge summaries on each patient during their final outpatient PT visit.
Education and Experience
  • Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
