Henry Ford Health in Michigan is hiring a physical therapist. Evaluates and conducts prescribed PT treatment programs, performs initial and ongoing assessments, develops a plan of care with patient/family, and uses standard PT techniques.

The role includes supervising PT assistants and students, and requires licensure in Michigan, BLS, bachelor's degree, and preferred master's; hospital-based experience in orthopedics and acute therapy is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• BLS
• Current State of Michigan Licensure - Physical Therapy
• Prefer at least 3 years hospital-based experience, orthopedics and Acute therapy.

Job Description

Sign on Bonus: $2,500 sign on bonus

Schedule

2 ten-hour shifts Monday and Wed. 1x per month weekend rotation. 1x per year holiday rotation.

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Responsibilities: Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.

Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.

Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.

Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
