Job summary

Sentara is seeking a Physical Therapist for its Acute Care Float Pool serving Hampton Roads Peninsula locations: Sentara Careplex Hospital, Sentara Williamsburg Hospital, and Sentara Obici Hospital. You will assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred) and BLS; 1 year experience for Resource Pool applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility and relieve pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by identified team members.

As a Physical Therapist you will Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher in Physical
Therapy.

Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred.

1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.

Compensation:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
