Job summary

Texas Counseling Association in Texas seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist to join a 300+ bed Trauma Center team providing 100% acute care with a diverse patient caseload (ICU, Neuro, Cardiac, Ortho, Oncology, Med/Surg).

The role includes a 9-month mentorship and onboarding, a schedule of 8:00–16:30, Mon–Fri with a 1-in-4 weekend rotation, and relocation assistance plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (NPTE).
• Passion for Acute Care and desire to treat 1:1.
• Open to New Grads or Experienced Therapists.
• Experience in the Acute Care setting is preferred; collaborative, team-building personality.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about injuries and treatment plans to help them understand expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless treatment.

About the Hospital:

• 300+ bed Trauma Center
• Join a collaborative team of over 25 PTs, OTs, and SLPs in acute care, plus more in other settings

Schedule:

• Full-time permanent position working 5-8's
  • 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
  • 1in4 Weekend Rotation
