Job summary

Texas Counseling Association is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist (NPTE) for a full-time acute care position. The role emphasizes education and 1:1 patient care within a 200+ bed trauma-oriented hospital setting in Longview, Texas.

The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, servant-leader mindset, be open to new grads, and thrive in a collaborative team of over 20 PTs, OTs, and SLPs. Relocation assistance and a robust benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist (NPTE).
• Experience in the Acute Care setting is preferred; open to New Grads.
• Prioritizes 1:1 patient care and education.
• Collaborative, team-building personality is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to patients about their treatment and expected outcomes.
• Deliver 1:1 patient care in an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs.
• Document patient progress and participate in care planning.

About the Hospital:

• 200+ bed Trauma Center
• Join a collaborative team of over 20 PTs, OTs, and SLPs in acute care, plus more in other settings

Schedule:

• Full-time permanent position working 5-8's
  • 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
  • 1in4 Weekend Rotation

About the Position:
