Job summary

Novant Health's Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for Acute Care in a PRN capacity. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered rehab, helping patients regain mobility and independence.

The role emphasizes hands-on, evidence-based therapy, with flexible scheduling in a leading inpatient setting that supports collaboration, professional growth, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate from an accredited PT program.
• Current state Physical Therapist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in Acute Care with diverse diagnoses and acuity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team to support mobility and independence.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist in our Acute Care department, you’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide hands-on, personalized rehab that helps patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.

• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels


• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals


• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and recovery strategy


• Play a key role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited PT program, required.


• Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state PT license, required.
