Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a part-time School-Based Physical Therapist in Galveston County, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. This on-site role serves students with physical disabilities, focusing on gross motor skills, mobility, and functional participation in school activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy with a Texas license and experience in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals.

We are currently hiring a part-time School-Based Physical Therapist in Galveston County, TX for the 2026–2027 school year.

This school-based role supports students with physical disabilities, motor challenges, or mobility needs by helping them safely access and participate in their educational environment. The Physical Therapist will focus on improving students’ gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility to support success in both academic and school-based activities.

• Location: In-person (On-site), Galveston County, TX
• Weekly Hours: Part-Time (8 hours/week)- 1 day/week
• Pay: $50-$54/ hour

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Conduct evaluations and monitor motor function, mobility, and physical development.
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to facilitate student access to the educational environment.
