Job Title:

Physical Therapist 2

Department:

James | SSCBC Oncology Rehabilitation

Physical Therapy Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Team Member is a licensed physical therapist that works within the oncology team structure to offer outpatient rehabilitation and lymphedema services. These services are provided at outpatient service sites to patients with lymphedema and other oncology-related rehabilitation needs, primarily at James Outpatient Care Center. The rehabilitation team reports to the Rehab Services Manager within the James Ambulatory Services structure.

Position Summary

Each team member contributes to a continuous performance improvement environment, assessing patients, establishing care plans, providing treatment, education, and support, and participating in quality and outcomes management. The role requires specialized knowledge in oncology patient care and lymphedema treatment, including complete decongestive therapy (CDT, MLD). Team members coordinate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Current Ohio license as a Physical Therapist.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years preferred.
• Maintains licensure, ongoing education, and meets health and competency requirements.
