Job summary

UPMC in Pennsylvania is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy, and monitor progress within a diverse rehabilitation team. You will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and function, guiding families.

New graduates are welcome and training is provided to support your growth. This full-time position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call, and includes

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Willingness to train new graduates.
• Experience in rehabilitation settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
• Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents
