A hospital-based outpatient clinic servicing a large area of western Alaska primarily consisting of Alaskan Native Americans. Provides full-time physical therapy services to a diverse population of clients from pediatric to geriatric, across a wide spectrum of diagnoses and therapy needs that includes but is not limited to orthopedics, neurology, vestibular and wound care. Position includes village travel, inpatient and outpatient care, home care and community outreach. Therapist adheres to Physical Therapy standards of care and practice along with JCAHO, OSHA, and Corporate Policies. Therapist applies age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care.
