The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people in rural southwest Alaska. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. The Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta features numerous lakes and the Kuskokwim and Yukon rivers.

This hospital-based outpatient clinic serves a large area of western Alaska, primarily consisting of Alaskan Native Americans. The role involves providing full-time physical therapy services to a diverse population, including pediatric to geriatric patients, across various diagnoses and therapy needs such as orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care. The position includes village travel, inpatient and outpatient care, home care, and community outreach. Adheres to Physical Therapy standards of care and practice, along with JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies. Considers age-specific and cultural factors in patient care.
