Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedics team. This full-time role offers a salary range of $86,000–$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with rehab colleagues. NJ PT license required; new grads considered.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level/new grad acceptable

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops progression of treatment plans.
• Provides education to patients and caregivers and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and effective communication with rehab team.
• Facilitates professional growth and improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other duties related to therapy services and program delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
