Day in the life of a Best Fitness Physical Therapist
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
- Deliver individualized one-hour treatment sessions combining manual therapy, exercise, and movement-based rehabilitation.
- Develop progressive return-to-sport and return-to-performance programs.
- Collaborate with fitness professionals in an integrated training environment.
- Educate patients on injury prevention and long-term performance.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Competencies
- Excellent manual therapy skills.
- Strong understanding of strength training principles and exercise prescription.
- Experience progressing patients back to sport or high levels of fitness.
- Familiarity with gym equipment and confidence treating patients in a fitness environment.
- Experience managing gym-related and athletic injuries.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
Education & Certifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and current state licensure required.
- Dry Needling Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of orthopedic and/or sports physical therapy experience.
- Sports rehabilitation or performance training experience.
- Passion for helping active individuals move and perform at their best.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 pounds (or as needed for patient handling).
