Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve mobility, strength, gait, balance, and posture.
• Fit and train residents in adaptive equipment such as orthotics and prosthetics.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to deliver care.
• Monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and support staff as needed.
• Assist with maintaining therapy equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, gait, balance, and posture.

• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on diagnosis and functional ability.
