Job summary

Fernandina Beach Rehabilitation and nursing center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PRN) to join our compassionate team. You will assess patients’ medical histories and current physical conditions, then develop personalized plans to restore mobility and independence.

Collaborate with nurses and therapists, educate patients and families on recovery, and document progress toward goals. Require Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, successful completion of the National

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination.
• Current valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ medical histories and current physical conditions.
• Diagnose movement patterns by observing patients and listening to their concerns.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Establish clear goals and expected outcomes for each treatment plan.
• Utilize exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injuries.
• Educate patients and families on the recovery process and self-care techniques.
