The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park in Maitland, FL is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary care team. You will provide high-quality rehabilitative services that help residents improve mobility and regain independence.

In this role, you will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs. A Florida PT license and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist license required.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, gait, balance, and posture.
• Fit and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment such as orthotics and prosthetics.
• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on diagnosis and functional ability.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to deliver coordinated care.
• Monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and support staff as needed.
• Assist with maintaining therapy equipment and supplies.
