Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Warrenton, NC is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist for a school-based role. This full-time position (30-35 hrs/week) supports students' mobility, function, and participation at school during the 2026-2027 year.

You will perform school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring, and write/maintain IEPs and therapy plans. You’ll attend IEP and multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in NC, or licensed in another state and willing to obtain NC licensure.
• ASAP pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for pediatric students.
• Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation.
• Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success.
