Role Description

This full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role is based at our FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers location in Waltham, MA. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients’ functional status, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and balance-related conditions. Daily responsibilities include providing one-on-one patient care, supervising therapeutic exercises, educating patients and families on home programs, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with other clinicians and staff to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation services and ensure safe, effective progression toward patient goals. The Physical Therapist will also contribute to a supportive clinic environment aligned with FYZICAL’s culture of connection and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs.
• Strong Patient Care skills, including communication, education, and the ability to build trust and long-term therapeutic relationships.
• Knowledge of Medicine and clinical best practices relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and balance conditions.
• Ability to design and monitor effective Home Care programs that support continued progress outside the clinic.
• Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, neurologic rehab, or vestibular/balance therapy is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and working collaboratively in a team-based environment.
