Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Services team in Tupelo. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

The incumbent will supervise PTAs and technicians, manage equipment budgets, and maintain compliant documentation while supporting ongoing clinical education and mentoring of staff.

Responsibilities

• Delegates authority to PTAs and technicians.
• Provides supervisory visits according to state regulations.
• Remains within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies.
• Charges patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment equipment.
• Maintains productivity level at department target.
• Evaluates and establishes treatment plans for patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Attends and provides continuing education in-services.
• Serves as mentor for new employees.
• Serves as clinical instructor after one year of experience as a clinician.
• Completes documentation according to regulations and in a timely manner.

JOB SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist at North Mississippi Health Services is integral to the Rehabilitation Services department. This role involves evaluating patients and creating treatment plans, ensuring competence in various therapeutic areas. The Physical Therapist collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, adheres to regulations, and maintains patient satisfaction through effective clinical decision-making and equipment management.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervisory.

  Budget:

  Clinical:

  Demonstrates Skills in the following areas:

  Other:
• Must be competent in use of computer for documentation and charging purposes. Regulation:
