Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. seeks a Clinical-Non Nursing Outpatient Rehab Admin for a full-time day shift in Tupelo, MS. You will assist with PT plans, supervise rehab techs, document accurately, and help manage equipment budgets.

Requirements include PTA associate degree, state PTA license, CPR, and competency across neonatal to geriatric assessments; teamwork and patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must hold a current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Delegate authority to Rehabilitation Technicians.
• Carry out treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Maintain competence in modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, electrotherapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and wheelchair transfers.
• Attend continuing education in-servicing and mentor new staff.
• Serve as clinical instructor for PTA students after one year of experience as a clinician.
• Complete documentation according to regulations and in a timely manner.
• Manage equipment and supplies budget and billings for treatments.
