Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Physical Therapist to join our team. You will plan and deliver physical therapy services to patients of all ages, collaborating with the care team to promote recovery and wellness.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, documentation, and patient-focused care in a modern clinical setting. Oklahoma licensure, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and BLS within 14 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Oklahoma Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and render physical therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion.
• Communicate and document results of treatment including patients' progress toward established goals according to department's policies and procedures.
• The incumbent serves as a resource person for the team and the department; participates in orientation of new staff therapists, physicians and other health personnel.

• Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and rendering physical therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion.

• The physical therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.
