The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with special needs children and possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional therapy services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic special education preschool program where multidisciplinary collaboration and best practice is valued.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate therapeutic activities designed to achieve goals and objectives in compliance with IEP mandates.

•Modify therapeutic techniques and provide supports to address the individual needs of each student

• Demonstrate compliance with each student’s IEP mandates with relation to instructional materials and learning environments

• Develop partnerships with parents by providing information about their child’s school experiences and respond to parent concerns in a supportive and unbiased manner

Credentials: NYS Physical Therapy License Required

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday (with school vacations and holiday off)
